I have been painting landscapes in Newfoundland, Italy, France, and the Low Country for a number of years. 'With Landscapes, I try to capture the mood of the day in the skies and clouds. I work both in oil & pastels depending on the scene I wish to capture.
I also enjoy painting still life and the subjects are usually food items with interesting china or other culinary items. This probably stems from my love of cooking !!!
I continue to attend workshops to enchance my skills, get new ideas and get constructive critism from teachers and fellow artists.
I am happily married with 4 children and 12 grandchildren. I retired from my buisness holdings in 2002. My family and my art are the joys that fill my days and provide my inspirations.
